The weight of the world
Falls upon my shoulders
And I let it drag me down
I feel shackled to this boulder
That I’ve been carrying around
I see so many people who
Still think just like you
I wish to erase and create a blank slate
And give ‘em a good talking to
What else can I do?
I see so many people
Losing faith in themselves
Never wondering if they could make a difference
So instead they leave it to someone else
And that’s the world we’re living in
In this great state of divide
