WALKING ON WORDS   by tom jensen
 I was born to preach
At an atheist church
For I’m light on my feet
When I’m walking on words

When I turn on the charm
Women turn off the lights
I once unbuttoned twenty-eight different bras
Over the course of twenty-seven consecutive nights
(Ahh…..twins!)

I was born to preach
At an atheist church
For I’m light on my feet
When I’m walking on words

I’ll out joke ya…
I’ll out quote ya…
And I’m just bad ass enough
Where I might smoke ya…
(no joke here!)

I’m brainiac brilliant…
And witty at my core…
I’m also Dopey, Happy, Blitzen, Comet
And all those other dwarves:

On Cupid! On Vixen!
And so on Bugs Bunny we go…
A cross down to the next chimney
For where there is fire
There is sure to be some smoke
(ahh…reefa!)

I was born to preach
At an atheist church
For I’m light on my feet
When I’m walking on words

The sun goes around this flat earth
While the slave cuts his master’s field
Be careful when you write ‘bout what’s not right
Sometimes the simplest of thoughts can get you killed

I was born to preach
At an atheist church
For I’m light on my feet
When I’m walking on words…
