We always find ourselves here in the warmth of the day
This place where rain and snowfall have all gone away
At the edge of a cliff like children we play

This slice of heaven is called home to me
Come and follow me to this place
Come with me and get one sweet taste
When life’s too quick then slow down the pace
So I can stop and admire your pretty face
The smell of the trees blend with the sweet scent of the ocean
Please tell me what you put inside of your magical potion
After letting the waves caress our every motion
Lay near the water as I rub you with lotion
As I look out upon the sea
I know you mean the world to me
Here with you I’m finally free
Free from this world’s insanity
As the day evolves to night
My eyes take journey on another sight
The moon’s silver blue hue is all around
In complete silence, no one makes a sound
I am left to hear your heartbeat sound
