SEXUAL INTELLECTUAL by Tom Jensen
I got a sign on my mind that reads space for rent
I burn holes in my pockets and then all my money’s spent
Some say I’m just another link in the chain
Born into the information generation
I got all these maps and these books
And I give them a look
But I still can’t tell which direction I’m facing…no no
This sort of branding for others may be true
But I got my own term that I like to use
I call myself a sexual intellectual
Another f$^%&*g know it all
The doctor told me I had a hernia
Just when I thought that I had life by the balls
I’ve learned my place
In this hurried race
Stay directly in line
Please follow every sign
What ever you do don’t touch the walls
For they’re very, very breakable
Oops is that retractable?
These people are like vegetables
So very, very negotiable
Easy to bend
Easy to mold
Easy to be bought
Even easier to be sold
Perhaps all the information they know
Has taken up room in their soul
Maybe shattered a few of their wills
And when the time comes to pay the bills
They’ll see they’re the one who owes
But not the sexual intellectual
He says he stays on his toes
But will he ever become successful?
I don’t think anyone really knows
