RAGE By Tom Jensen
Rage…
It’s surely cardinal if not primal
Seems almost medieval and during struggles for survival
When focused it is unmatched and perhaps even unequalled

In the proper hands when it’s well-harnessed
It’s second to love in having the greatest of powers

However with each use its sharpness becomes blunted
As it loses its precious preciseness

Once it becomes too tarnished
When suddenly many become harmed
It is sure cause for panicked alarm

So you must first confine it
Hence just to contain it
Find out what provokes it
For once rechanneled
You can then re-aim it…

Away from family and friends
And those who stand beside you

At the very least just make sure
That they’re not standing in front of you
But are far safely behind you…

For when you rage out in great anger
All in your path is subject to grave danger

Everyone from cherished loved ones
To complete and total strangers
