But I've been looking up lately

I am willing to deflate

And try to silence
any feelings of hate
That deep inside of me grow

Try to bury them alive

To use as my tools
to allow me to thrive

The harder it is
to maintain total control
The more likely I am
to be persuaded by fear
For in this line of work
very few will ever make it

Can get driven to the
brink of insanity...
End up losing themselves,
their lives and their family...
When their music
never makes the radio
No videos on MTV...
I must be able to give it
as well as take it
Yet I know it

No regrets if I miss
