Napalm smells like victory
Though you won’t find that in history
Books don’t always paint the picture complete
Unless you write in blood after your defeat
Proven is the fact that the past is only
Recorded by the winners of war
Woven into the fabric of society is the fate
That all of us sinners have in store
Yet the entire story has never been told
You know that pencil and paper can always be sold
The pages are all ripped and torn yet the cover seems new
The phases we go through we’ve found only the beginning is true
Twisting and turning in false reflections
Listening to echoes of voices coming from all directions
Whose voice do you hear when you seek the truth?
Do you believe the well-paid fool or search deeper for proof?
