Once I found the key to my mind
But then I dropped it and lost it
Right before I could unlock it....
So now wherever I go I carry my phone
And I keep my friends inside my pocket
I've been at peace with myself
Despite my fighting daily
Suddenly I've been seeing myself
In a whole new light lately
I've been recently sorting out
Business partners from friends
And I've learned a lot about
Who I am and so many other things...
I've been digging myself deeper in debt
Keeping up with the Jones
I've been pawning the hardest work off
On to my newly cloned twin
I've been living in a glass house
And throwing stones and...
I've been hiding my head low
Every time I hear a phone ring
'Cause I don't wanna be a number, baby
Even if it's number one
It's thinking in binary code
That first drove me crazy
Once I got computer smart
I found myself being socially dumb
As well as irrevocably numb
