GROWN TO LOVE by Tom Jensen
Sure there was a sign clearly stating:
NO Sluts and NO Whoring!
But I heard a voice saying:
No Guts then No Glory!
So I dropped my pants and I did a little dance
Just to see who could ignore me
There weren't many if there was anyone
Whose hand didn't reach into either
My pocket full of money or my big jar of honey
Yet the most frequent question that's been asked to me
Is why I'm such good friends with the girls in the taxies?
The ones who get dropped off down at the strip
It's not because they get their socks knocked off
It's more because I know just how much to tip
Sure there was a sign clearly stating:
NO Sluts and NO Whoring!
But I heard a voice saying:
No Guts then No Glory!
They're oh so good at loving and then leaving
It's nice at least there's no pretending or deceiving
I'm happy now and she, she, and she's the reason
For I've grown to love these little liaisons
She told me when I'm lonely that she'd hold me
For a fee... yes, she charged me hourly to console me
But she said for free that she'd help to unroll me
Right now there's no waiting and this line is just for laying
The other one is for loving which is more expensive than dating
Take that other jar you save for the day when it's raining...
To find out what sex is like without hearing complaining
Because...hey...you know that either way you'll still be paying
Sure there was a sign clearly stating:
NO Sluts and NO Whoring!
But I heard a voice saying:
No Guts then No Glory!
