Have you ever bought a picture
Just because you liked the frame?
Have you ever quoted scripture
Just because it backed up your claim?
Have you ever done nothing
When doing something would have
changed the outcome
But since you didn't
everything remained the same
Because you just sat on your thumbs
The powers that be
Finally let me hold the gun
But I’m not sure of which way
I’m supposed to aim it…
No, I’ll never make anyone rich…
But now I can make you famous!
Lesson one:
Don’t give a gun to just anyone
Especially one that’s loaded
I’ve seen a powder keg
Left unguarded so I got
a good seat so I could see
to watch it when it exploded
It’s a good way to die
No, I wouldn’t mind
going out that way
A nice thing to have
written on your grave
Lots of people would talk
I wonder what they would say?
Sure, he shot straight…
But didn’t always know
