FISH by Tom Jensen
She lives in a vacuum bag
Inside of a box
She’s got no internet, television
And no clocks
Just a cross upon her neck
No watch on her wrist
If it wasn’t for her religion
She’d never know what day it is
When it comes to the world
She’s so innocent...naïve
Yet she could speak for a week
All about Adam and Eve
She calls you Doubting Thomas
Because you still don’t believe
Saying you’ll never end up in Heaven with me
Until you fall down upon your knees
And you say, “Please!”
You call her a trained monkey
As you try to shake her from her tree
Explaining Eve ate more than Adam’s apple
Yup, she caught an STD...
She passed it to the Jake the snake
And Sally the slimy salamander was pissed
But Adam threw them both in the river
And that’s how we got fish
Adam then found a genie in a bottle
Who would grant Adam just one wish
So Adam decided to have God rubbed out
And he told Eve to dig a ditch
With that Adam became the ruler
Of this planet we call the Earth
A land filled with corruption and chaos
Hey, I say... Adam got what he deserved
