When I got out of line it seems I lost my place
I spent too much time trying to find my own way
When I spoke out against the powers that be
Since I was on the wrong side of the fence
They told me that I had to leave
Got voted off the mainland that I faught so hard to free
I tried the best I can but their democracy got the best of me
All because I tried to warn the people of what they couldn't see
But what got lost was original thought
Something you can't watch on T.V.
Only when you find it...
Deep inside your mind if...
You block out everything - that's right...
So don't even listen to me...
So many things get lost...
Or skeletized inside the closet...
You hide from everyone and everything - that's right...
And you know how that story goes
If you know your history
I only do it for the love...
No, never for the money, honey
I know there's a pair of eyes
Watching me and it ain't funny, honey
Why even try to hide it from yourself
That you care more for somebody else?
When I say I'm doing fine
You know I'm lying to save face
I'm slowly dying inside
Because it feels like I'm failing my fellow human race
I reach inside me...
Yeah, I pull it out...
Then I get a bad taste
Inside of my mouth
I look up...
I look around...
I see tears running
And people falling down
