DYSLEXIC by Tom Jensen
I never was a good enough actor
to sell myself as victim of sacrilege
So label me as an Intentional Anachronism
Since I never sit up high enough on the tree to see
If it's really a pyramid-shaped world...
Or that's just the way it's shaping up to be
Oh Geeh...
From flat to round
to a pyramid and then a mound...
For what goes up...
must fall back down
I think it's time to turn
Illuminate the light tonight...
And let it burn
Oh, let it burn
If: "You got your pyramid turned the wrong way."
It sounds like something that only
Only a Superman would say.
Alas, you’ve found your own Kryptonite
Not with X-ray vision but by seeing in black and white
They have working eyes and yet are lacking sight
They claim suits and wear ties
Creating walls of numbers
which they like to hide behind
Leaving me to be an I.A.
in a world full of A.I.s
Ay yi yi…
It's not just the freaks
That sleep down at the beach
Lately I see
Lots of people like you and me
These are crazy times
If you read between the lines
You can find lots of uncovered crimes
Under your blanket in
What we call the New York Times
I never was a good enough actor
to sell myself as victim of sacrilege
So label me as an Intentional Anachronism
Since I never sit up high enough on the tree to see
If it's really a pyramid-shaped world...
Or that's just the way it's shaping up to be
Oh Geeh…
