CHANGING THE GAME By Tom Jensen
I sing to myself
Usually in the shower
Or sometimes in front of my computer
Or when I take a long ride
And sometimes... when I go outside
I sing to the squirrels
That climb on my bird feeder
I sing to my cats who make
the squirrels run and climb the tree
To the birds on the limb
it's like they're watching MTV
And I sing to the clouds
So that they may pass on by
But this one's just for you
It comes from deep down inside
I used to be just like you
We are still the same
But now I’ve come to free you
It’s just a crying shame
To see you in such a state of sorrow
Here's hoping you’ll feel better today
And even greater tomorrow
I used to be just like you
We are still the same
Now that you've freed yourself
You can help me tip the scales
And together we can change the game
