Is living in a dream the same as living in a lie?
Have you ever stopped to wonder…
About whether or not you’ve fallen under?
You might have thought once
But you sure didn’t think twice
Probably never bothered to think at all
Now you’ve found yourself a prisoner of your own device
You turned around and said “Jesus Christ! Who built this wall?”
‘Twas you…a little by little every day
‘Twas you who…now know the price that someday you’ll pay
Because that someday is today and some things have gone astray
“Twas not me…who kept you from being free” I can honestly say
So go boo hoo hoo to someone other than me…

You claim up and down
That you’re the victim of circumstances beyond your control
But when it’s easy to pick up then it’s probably harder to put down
